Almost 5 stars ... but the meat ... STAFF First of all ... the service Simone was extremely attentive and super friendly. The boss was also very nice and sought a lot of contact with the guests. Despite the fact that all restaurants have to close for a month in 3 days, no tension was noticeable. EAT We had crayfish soup with scallops, pumpkin soup. As a main course steak with cognac-pepper sauce and saddle of venison with cranberry sauce. Creme brulee as dessert. One wine and 3 beers. Unfortunately, the meat clearly had the typical fiber structure of previously frozen meat. Both the steak and the saddle of venison. It was still on point and OK. The sauces as well as the side dishes were great. But if I leave over 120 euros for a meal, then I expect meat to be better ... The rest was almost perfect

The Schnabels is a place similar to a culinary land of milk and honey ... 😋 ... Mr. Schnabel and his team are excellent hosts and the regional cuisine is highly recommended ❣️

Even in Corona times there is the opportunity to experience Schnabel's restaurant in your own four walls. The Boeuf Bourguignon was a very delicious Easter meal and we are looking forward to returning to Gersweiler in more normal times.

A top class gastronomy. If you want to spend a perfect evening you are more than right here. The quality of the dishes and their individual components is outstanding and also regional. The boss is an expert in all areas and absolutely personable. In my eyes, anyone who loves to eat cannot avoid Schnabel's restaurant. Unreserved recommendation.

Absolute top class, the landlord is the master of the situation in every decision-making process. The kitchen is m. E on the star. The wines, beers, cremants, etc. are selected, exquisite and suitable. Caring for the guests has a familiar, non-intrusive, amiable way. And this also applies to the staff. The ambience is carefully designed. We felt very comfortable here and, despite the pre-embossed reluctance, had tried and eaten everything ... unfortunately we had to do some washing. our dog home earlier.

There was no room anymore, I had already had to reserve two weeks before, but still friendly help could still drink coffee and received unsolicited bread, cream cheese and figs for free, the owner thought it was bad when I told him that we were and his restaurant had been selected to eat for our 30 year anniversary. All in all highly recommended
